Code for the Globe is a social tech movement to transform lives across the world through universal access to data.

This weekend, Friday April 8th, we are responding to the crisis in Sri Lanka. The country is in the midst of a massive humanitarian crisis, which involves food shortages and power cuts of at least 10 hours per day. The people lack easy access to essential information such as the times and locations of power cuts that could help them make better decisions.

To address these challenges, we organized a 24 hour Hackathon at Stanford University on Friday April 8th.

Join us to continue this work and make an immediate impact in the lives of millions of people.
